Dr. Edwin (Ed) Michael O'Shaughnessy PhD CLS brings over four decades of healthcare experience and expertise to GHH from a multi-didactic structure of academics combined with one-on-one studies with a number of clinical healthcare masters beginning in the 1970s and continuing to present day.
His experiences in pathology, laboratory technology, clinical chemistry, military medicine, psychotherapeutic intervention with specialty in chronic pain management (board-certified) and trauma recovery has given him designation as an integrative psychophysiologist. This sub-specialty examines multiple factors which create and/or impact how the mind functions and influences body performance (psychosomatics) as well as those elements which create and/or impact how the function of the body influences the mind (somatopsychics) all of which begins at the molecular level and culminates in the overall function of the whole person-whole systems human machine.
In addition to his professional work in healthcare facilities and private practice (now retired), he has consulted with professional athletes, corporations, lectured internationally, is a published author and licensed private pilot.
